According to some (though not reality) the potential beneficial uses of hypnosis are virtually endless, and inspired by the perceived success of hypnotic breast enlargement, Victoria Gallagher and her crew at Hyptalk.com offer – you guessed it – hypnotic penis enlargement.
Gallagher has a long CV of anything but any form of real background in science or medicine (though she has studied “metphysical and personal growth concepts”). But why would she even need to study for any recognized degree when “[a]ny goal that she strives for, she attains and attributes her success to clearly visualizing the desired outcome in hypnosis”? I am, in fairness, not sure she is even completely clear how her own method is supposed to work, but the fact that she “has an intuitive nature and a gift for being able to establish a great rapport, quickly and easily with people she meets,” at least suggests cold reading. But surely the technique described should be good for that penis enlargement thing. According to her bio, she is a “Certified Master Hypnotherapist, Certified Weight Management Specialist, Certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner” (I have no idea, and you don’t want to know). It is less clear whoissued these certifications, but I suppose those who follow advertisement links to web-based penis enlargement services in the first place would not be particularly prone to worry about such details.
Diagnosis: A rather fascinating combo of New Age self-help crap, altmed, and spam memes. I cannot imagine that she is able to do that much harm in the grand scheme of things, however.
